Here we go again : All mountain / touring ski

Hello guys!

So i'm looking for a new ski to rip my local mountain and to use in not like big pow snow conditions touring trips. I look forward to buy cast setup for these one. Maybe i'll do it for my bentchetler's in the long run...

I already have the bentchetler's 120 with a kingpin to enjoy big powder.

I am looking for:

174-177 long skis

96-104 underfoot

I am gonna be 60/40 mountain/touring ratio respectively.

I thought about the salomon QST, k2 mindbender and the 4frnt Raven.

i loved the 4frnt Hoji but having already a 120, 112 is not needed.

I'm open to suggestion too! thanks

I've heard the fischer ranger is a great 50/50 ski may be pretty stiff tho

Many good options but Fauna Pioneer was basically made with this in mind so that’s one to consider. I’m 174 and just got them in a 184. I’m really enjoying them

Check out the on3p touring skis or customs if u have the money or moment wildcat tours

Id go with the osama pros. Can smash through crud but fly under the radar. Just a solid bomb proof ski overall

I second the Osama Pros, sand core provides a damp yet lively feel.

But if you can't find those, the Vision 108 is worth looking at

I was going to say Moment Deathwish 104.

Aren't the newer QST and Mindbenders both quite heavy for touring...even 50/50?

As others have said the 175 Pioneer could be a good fit for you. Depending on your height/weight If you want something a bit more stable at speed don’t be afraid to size up to the 184.
