oh believe me, he is. he's an agressive little bastard. i had to other little fish in there with him since he was about 2', that's when i got him(now he's 3') and he ate those bastards withing 2 weeks. he tore them to shit. all he left was the face. and i was feeding him 3 times daily too, so i don't think it was cause he was hungry

thats a nice looking tank man. Be sure to always leave the blinds to window behind it closed otherwise the extra sunlight will encourage algae growth. As for feeding them 3 times a day....I wouldn't. It wont take long for him to out grow your tank (It looks like a 20 gallon high. In the wild the fish do not have the opportunity to eat as much so they will often not eat for several days. But when food is redilly available to him like it is now, he will eat as much as he can b/c he doesnt now when his next meal will be. Its easy to over feed aggrasive fish b/c theyre so fun to watch (Im guity of it too.) But over feeding can lead to digestive problems, and your filter will not be able to handle the waste and ammonia that he puts in the water. Pirhanas and many other fish are illegal in many states for a couple of reasons. First, Generally if the fish is able to survive in local waters and it has no natural enemies there, it will be made illegal so there is less of a chance for the fish to take over the waters in that state. Thats probably the case in Kansas. Also most aggresive fish are imported from foreign countries. Many fish distributors from other countries operate without the necessary licenses and therefore their goods are illegal.

i make sure only to feed him little bits at a time. when i was researching pirhana, a lot of people said to feed them 3-5 times a day, but now i'm down to about 2. my feeding schedule is kinda off due to ski season.

today i just got 3 baby neon tetras(they're SUPPOSED to co-exist with pirhanas) and he ate them all within 2 hours.....it sucked. so now i have to find somewhere that sells some bigger tetras.

damn i actually jsut furnished my tanks.....my brown clown fish jsut died tonight, but i got a 14 day warrenty on the sucker, so i'll get a new one to psot.....he got his eye ripped out by one of the other fishies.......lemme take a pic of my needle nose fishy though......he's been rippin fedder fish tails off all day. i'll take some stills of my 75 gallon tank and then some of my little 20 gallon.....

nice tanks. i'm getting a bigger tank once my fish is about 7', then i'll get him some friends so that i can feed them whole steaks and shit.

and whoever asked if he had a name, yes he does. it's scarface cause when i got him he was all buggered up. he had a massive scar on his face, his upper fin had a chunk taken out, and hit right fin was completely gone

i'll try, but he never eats in front of me. i'm gonna feed him in a little bit. i had to move his tank, so he's a little shaken up from going back and forth from the holding tank to his other tank. so i'll feed him some frozen shrimp later on, and i'll try to get a pic of him eating it.
