I used too do it but i quit. I fucked me up when I skied. I couldn't do shit. I think punkrawk is a dumbass. I was perfectly happy when a wasn't high, i just did it for fun. The smoke is def bad for you, but considering most people smoke less than the equivalent of a cigarette a day, I'd say its not as bad as tobacco. And about not quiting, that is bullshit. I just stopped doing it one day no problem. That shits not addictive. There is way to much propaganda going around about pot.

someone correct me if im wrong, but didnt the snowboarder ross powers(almost positive it wasnt him) win a gold medal a few years back in halfpipe and than he got busted for failing the test after his run? i could be wrong on the person, but as for it takes makes ur athletic ability worse, i think not. if it makes you perform worse in sports, how could someone win a medal in the Olympics, one of the top levels of competition? and hav people that are bashing it actually smoked?

Yah the government uses ridiculous lies to try to turn people away from smoking pot. At my old high school we had a carreer preparation program. The class was short so it was divided into half a year. I had it the first half of the year, and my friend had it the second half. In the first half of the year the teacher told the class that one joint was the equivlant to smoking 3 ciggarrettes in terms of toxicity and tar. But in the second half of the year the teacher told the class that smoking one joint was equivlant to smoking 20 ciggarettes. Do you actually think the government did scientific research to come up with this new number, in just half a year??... nope, that teacher pulled it straight out of her ass. Smoke weed, get high, have fun, and be peaceful

thats very true. i'm a student at cornell university and i have countless numbers of friends that smoke up. but guess what, pot DOES kill brain cells and your retarded to not believe that. (i thought skiers were smarter than snowboarders, but i guess not;) ) studies show that pot doesnt make you stupid in some cases, but it does cause a minimal to slight dip in intelligence. but did you know that it causes lung cancer more than smoking? did you know it kills your sperm count?? hell you can't even get physically addicted to pot, but did you know people become psychologically dependent on the euphoric and sedative effects??? is this worth it to feel good about yourself???? but hey if you feel better when throwing your sticks around in the park when you are high in aim to cloud your inadequate skills then go ahead. kill yourself...more room for me on the slopes.

pot has been proven to help drinving skills. scientists who have been studying the drug have found that since marijuana makes people mellow, they tend to ease off the accelerator and they don't drive as fast. it curbs road rage instincts, and when driving in tense situations the driver is more attentive. This all came from some university report, McGill I think but hey what do they know, there just scientists.

i have never smoked while i ski but i plan to this year...im real stoked about it too. i dont smoke a lot, maybe 4 or 5 times a week, but i pull out like a 4.2 gpa and am ranked in the top 25 in my school. I cant make people that much less intelligent. and about it affecting performance on the hill, are you fucking kiding me?!?!?!?!? has tanner hall not won almost every major skiing event high as a mother fucker?!?!?! DARE boys think what you will, weed is good shit. how can you say that its effects are any worse than drinking ya dumb fucks?
