it actually doesn't look as hucked as I thought it'd be, although I'm sure he could've held on the grab a tad bit longer had the jump been bigger

yes, it's always better to have style, and henrik won't even let you give him props on something if he doesn't think he's stylie enough... he agrees as much as anyone.
However, when you are talking about a 16 that wasn't penciled, and actually grabbed for a good deal of it, then stomped, it's on a different level that I think gets respect in a different way.

oh no. im all for huge spins dont get me wrong. im not hating at all. and i laughed so hard at henrik when he did the switch 12 in slamina. "not too good not too bad" hahaha

i thought it was sick. im just sick of the hate. its not like anyone throwing shit these days really pencils it.
 
damn. he'll get a steezy switch 18 on a bigger jump by the end of the year. that jump didn't even look that big. imagine what he could do at joss
 
Yea held the grab for like 270 of the spin. Shit is so wack. A swtich 16 on a 50 foot jump, sweet. I don't get why you all have this boner for Henrik when Hatveit and Schiller throw 14s way cleaner and with better grabs than spinny mcspinnelstein. Oh and Hatveit has them both ways. I really wish he would have put down back to back 14s both ways in the x games and just silenced park skiing for awhile. People would realize they can't spin to win since it been beaten and go back to some style.

Why the fuck do people argue about this shit? I'm pretty sure Henrik doesn't give a shit whether you think his 1620 was cool or not. It's not like he threw it to win a comp or anything, hes just out there having a good time and testing his limits. Even if it wasn't the most stylish trick, you can't deny that takes some serious nuts and some serious skills. And he grabbed for at least 720 of it. IMO that was really fuckin baller.
 
how was that gay? he had a legit grab for most of the roation, just ecause you can't do it doesn't make it "gay."
 
Why is everybody arguing? I mean sure, what he did "isn't progressing the sport" but i mean its still fucking insane! I'm sorry but if someone does a switch 16 and stomps it, i dont fucking care if he only held the grab through half the trick, its still insane!
 
omg i was just on youtube and saw then came here. but henrik kills it got a good grab in (coulda held it abit longer but still) and afterbanged it.

He just threw it again flawlessly with a mute the whole time to win King of the Monsterpark in Switzerland....you can hate all you want, but I think it's so sick that a young guy like him can help shape the sport with a new comp-winning trick---and actually make it look good!
