hendrix sucked

...At what point did he say that Clapton was not a good guitarist? I agree with him, Clapton is in no way shape of form the third best guitarist of all time. I'm not saying he's bad, because he's great, but like most famous guitarist, he's overrated.

And to the man who posted above me, we know Dylan did Watchtower. Hendrix covered it.
 
just to give you a different perspective back in 1966 during the "clapton is god" days hendrix went to london before he was famous and in the middle of a cream show was like "hey can i jam with you guys?" so their all chill and shit so their like yeah whatever. so hendrix plugs his guitar in and rips out a guitar riff and clapton poops himself right there. the rest of that week the beatles, the who, rolling stones, jimmy page, and jeff beck went to watch him perform along with many others. so if all those "guitar gods" were amazed by him he had to be pretty good.
 
not that fucking good??? let me tell you hendrix played some of the most inventive intricate rthyms in rock music. If you knew anyhting about music (from a musician's standpoint) you would not even think the things you were saying. he didn't only play with the hendrix experience and if he was found by the animals he must've had somehting that you just can't see.
 
dude page was/is amazing but definitly not the best. the reason he is considered to be so good and sounds so good is his mastery of rythm. he took rythms and repeated them perfectly (immigrant song, any recoding) and then put them together in mostly freetime solos such as heartbreaker (HTWWW would be my favorite example)

he made an opinion.. dont read the thread if you dont like what it sias.. mommy was right by my standards.. hes not the greatest his music made no sense. sorry if he was one of the best but what did he do for the world? aside from smoke about 1/10th of the weed available to man kind
