wtf is going on, that is complete bullshit, you can call to help deciding who wins big air???

Skiing really turned into a fashion reality tv show.
 
did you really need to make a thread about this?  theres one about voting, figured youd know that considering your a mod and all.
 
yea i had to cause I think it's fucking stupid.

this is a thread to discuss about the idea of having general public vote fro skiers.

pretty sure a double front is better then a switch double rodeo 10 in the pubklic mind.

personaly think its a good idea but not done to the right audience loadsa people are going to be like well going up side down las gota be better than spinning around, competitors judging eachother rocks as it shows so much respect.

Horrrrrible idea. But whatever, it's not a serious competition or there would be more than 4 skiers in it.
 
I think it was a different way for ESPN to get a census of how many people actually watch skiing big air without blatently saying "call in or we're gonna can this for next year."
 
worst judging for a comp...ever. youve got the general public who doesnt know shit about skiing, and some random actor judging. sooooo, yeah. rediculous.
 
Who the hell was that random ass n00b???? All he ever said was "I'd NEVER try that" or "I'm just amazed that they can land backwards... it's like MAGIC!!!"
 
they didn't even care what the public votes were. simon over jon w/ something like 67% of text voting... so... here's head judge josh loubek... hmmmm... jon wins.
 
Although it may seem funny to us, its making the noobish public think that us skiers are crazy and amazing how we can land backwards, and they are going to want to see more of it. I think it's a good thing.
 
I think the idea of having the public vote--via text message for that fucking matter--is a fucking awful idea. The public will be like, wowww he did a double back flip with a 180, cool! text text text

Yeah, soo retarded. They just had to gay it up as much as they possibly could and came to the decision that this american idol type shit would be just the extra gay they needed so they threw it in.
