HELPP MEE

dooope edit. i enjoyed the shifty three. but dont worry about getting spancerized. if u can make a dope edit like u just did then who cares.

id say not yet, your fur shurr talented but nothing that you did is new or inovative if you know what i mean. i mean i dont know too much about the whole industry and getting into and such, but definatly compete in the comps around you and keep it up and get to know people who are already in the industry. good work and keep on skiing!

If I were you, I would keep that edit for a personal one. Then cut one up that has less slow motion and make it about a minute long and focus on writing a great cover letter. I would also put some thought into the direction you want to take your skiing...and then go with it. Compete in the area and I bet you'll have good luck. You have pretty good style in my opinion, learn a few banger grabs like blunts and a high mute or critical to go with your 5's and 7's and that will set you apart. I like how you keep your hands in on boxes too...keep that up! my $0.02 I hope you'll take my criticism constructively, and keep in mind its all based on my personal opinion...

yeah i would say as other people have less slo-mo is on thing. also i would say just get more grabs and work on holding them longer. i only noticed a couple grabs and nothing much past the boot area of the ski. but yeah try criticals and high mutes and just whateve you can think of/see others doing. but yeah hell just my opinion you stll kick my ass any day though. keep shreddin!

how could i hate on an edit like that, that was a really good and i really enjoyed watching it, the tricks u have looked dialed, u looked like u were having fun, not quite big sponser material but maybe try sending it to some smaller companies, the shifty 3 was dope, and like someone else said, a few more grabs a few more rotations and yeah thats sponser material, good work on the edit, again really well done

I would also try to learn a good switch hit and start doing two-sevs onto everything...if you could replace some of the flat box shots with 2sev on tricks and put a couple of switch tricks into that video before the end of the season I think it'll help you out alot...

btw wats the name of this song, i actually think i already downloaded it, but i cant for the life of me remember... i hear it all over the place now, and a remix of it

yeah exactly and the fact that your only 15 might help you out a bit. sack up and send it in. whats the worst they can do say no

Damn. I'm your age and were on the same level. EXACT. i'm working on an edit right now and for the future. By the way that short edit was dope sauce, especially the song

Like said above, I would keep that for personal use. for sponsership, I would focus on either a shorter edit with less repetition of tricks and cutting out some shots just to keep the better ones. (ie... you have a straight slide on the whale tail box then a front 2 or 4, so cut out the straight slide)

You are pretty good for 15, and your smooth style will help a lot.

when you submit for sponsorship, you should really focus on a good cover letter too, it's a lot like applying for a job.

i said focus on either and didn't add an either...

either the shorter edit, or look at the tricks in this one and figure out new ones you can do to give it more variety.

keep it up

for sure compeate in your area,

but about the edit, very nice I like it, iv talked to some reps and what they want to see for when I finally get a video together, and they said make it only about a min. so shorten it up a bit, they want to see what you got, but not a bunch of the same stuff.

the editing in that is really cool tho, id just send it in like that.

I fuckin love that song!!!

dont worry about what NS says man just send it out and hope for the best

u may get lucky, maybe not (like me)

and i dont know how picky sponsers are on this stuff but on the jumps u gotta reach for the grab, it looks like ur goin for it but ur hand never seems to make it.

good edit and good luck

The edit was really good.

Start off by sending your "Sponsor Me," video to smaller companies. Ex: Uni Threads, Royaltee threads, Liberty Skis etc...

Then work your way up to bigger companies. Ex: EC Headwear, Ninthward etc...

Just make a really good edit, try to get in Superunknown next year and you will definetly have my vote

I loved it. I agree on adding some 270 ons. And maybe it's just me but I like seeing disasters/ gaps on and off rails and boxes and stuff. The second to last shot filmed from what I'm assuming was a chairlift was awesome. The shot was epic in both the true meaning of the word and the NS meaning.

That was pretty sick, just two things in my opinion.

Shorten it up, use most of the same footage but get rid of the slo mo and some of the shots where you one up in the shot after (straight on s box and the next shot is 270 out)

second a switch hit couldent hurt.

But send it in man, if nothing else you'll get feedback back as to what you have to step up. Also send it to every company you can think of, again it cant hurt.

when doing local and regional comps or whatever always have a good attitude. don't suck up, just be nice and outgoing in a good way.

people notice kids who have a lot of style and a good attitude.
