ok newschoolers im not saying this is gonna work and alot of you might not believe me but here it goes. So my parents cant really pay for hockey, were in a little bit of a pickle. we have a beach property that wont sell but we still have to pay taxes on, and a mortgage on a house we cant afford. Ive been playing very competetive hockey since i was 4 years old, starting for a select team called the Hershey Quebec team, we traveled all around Canada staying with families, then too triple A Jr. Flyers and so on. Now i am playing Junior A hockey and looking to play for Universtiy of Vermont in college. But theres one problem. I cant afford to play Junior A!! My parents wont let me play unless i pay 3000$ and i have to get this money only over the summer so all i do is fucking workk and theres still no way of getting the money so im selling my ps3, and all my ski shit. so heres what i need from NS. PLEASE MAKE ANY DONATIONS TO MY PAY PAL ACCOUNT. anyone that helps me out +karma, and sent stickers, hats in the mail. I DESPERATELY NEED TO PLAY HOCKEY. HELP.

that was a nice goal, but i am in desperate need of money right now so im not going to give you any money, sorry. but go find a job bro, or work harder. after 3 months of handing out resumes i finally got a call back for an interview today

and if the OHL doesnt want you or any of the other divisions that play memorial cup just hang up the skates
 
i honestly would help you if i could. i dont have a paypal account or a credit card though.i know what its like to really want to play something and not know if you will be able to or not.
you can ask your coach or league if they will let you pay them what you have and then pay the rest off as you go but i dont know if they will let you do that.
my only other advice is to get another job you can do on the side
 
Take up Pimpin', all you need is like 3 O-K bitches and you'll be makin plenty of chedda. Onces you got enough, leave them hoes behind and take all the money yo self!

But if that doesnt work, you could always just whore yourself off....

dont be like that, your hockey playing is a good cause and all but people dont always have money to spare for a stranger, especially at the age most people on this site are. i just got out of college and i dont have shit for money
 
I'm sorry but $3000 isn't that huge of a sum to make over the summer, not to mention the amount of bursaries and scholarships available. That goal was pretty fucking dangles so it seems like a very valid possibility.
 
Definetly not the only way.

Unreal goal, but the majority of NS is 12-15 year-olds who wouldn't give a cent anyways and the rest who might are probably trying to pay for school themselves.
 
someone on ns lent me 50 something dollars to pay for a ebay purchase my brother got on my account. I bought it, sold said item to unicorn and paid him back as fast as possible. somethings ns is generous
 
well over half the players are canadian which means over half the players come form the ohl if you are a canadian player and you dont make ohl your chances of makin it to the big show are slim

Lol there are still a lot of of division 1 players that make the NHL. Even if you make the OHL your chances of making the show are something like 3%. Anywhere you play you have to be amazing at hockey.
 
I feel for you man. Junior hockey is fucking expensive. If I had money in my paypal, I would send you some cash.

And to all you other people. Playing D1 in college is a big deal. An opportunity of a lifetime that is not something that should be passed up. Even if he cant make it the the NHL, who cares.

I feel for you, my parents never let me play hockey for travel and commitment reasons, and it's probably the biggest regret I have. I've never even put on a pair of pads. All my life I've had to settle with being a pond hockey god.

Ah sucks, I was in the same boat 3 years ago, trying to get money for AAU baseball, I didn't end up having to do anything but I was lucky. Good luck to you.
 
atleast you can still play, i shattered my ulna from getting hit from behind in a junior a game 2 years ago.
 
well, maybe he doesnt necessarily wanna go to the show, maybe he knows he probably wont get there, but still enjoys playing competitive hockey.
