alright,2010 is approaching. what the fuck do we call it?

remember 1990-1999? we called those years the "nineties" remember 1980-1989? we called those years the "eighties"

what the fuck do we call 2000-2009? the fucking "tens"? what about 2010-2019? the teens?

at least once we get to 2020-2029 we can call it the twenties....

can anybody help me here?
 
i thought we all agreed this period would be collectively known as the "War On Terror"
 
it doesn't matter, by the time we figure it out it will already be 2012 and the world will cease to exist. There.
 
well what did they call it in 1910. nothing. whats the point call it "twenty ten" or "o' ten" or maybe...i know this is pushin it but possibly "two thousand and ten"

i mean what do we call the period from 2000-2009, and the period between 2010 and 2019?

like... the chunk of years. my first post might not have been clear on that. sorry. when referring to a specific year i have no problem with "oh nine" or "twenty ten"
