height:5'8"

weight: around 125ish

level: advanved intermediate.

...thanks

Well, since you say big mountain, I would assume stiff, but I'll give you both stiff and soft options...

Stiffer:

-Rossi Scratch BC/Brigade = 98 underfoot

-Rossi Steeze

-Line Prophet 100/130

-

Softer-

Lizzies

Bacons

EP Pros

Hellbents

Pontoons?

Medium-

Seths

AK Maiden/Enemy

Thats all I can think of for now

to narrow it down: I live on the east coast and would only use these after big storms EC and then when i go to Utah for a week this winter...These skis need to do well on groomers as well

Yo man, I'm in your same position, EC and Utah for a week. I have the yellow Scratch BCs, which are 98 underfoot, and they work great. Good enough for all mountain on EC, and floaty enough in Utah pow, although Utah pow is so soft you'd need an uber-fat ski to float. I'd recommend them, not gonna lie. They're the same ski as the brigade

I'm from Connecticut, so I do a lot of skiing at Mt. Snow/Stratton and southern VT ski places. Last season I spent a lot of time at Sunday River and Stowe. You don't really get EC pow unless you go up that far, and we had a few good days

Agreed. I have the '06 Scratch BC. Same dimension, but much heavier and it's a great EC all-mountain ski.
