So I want to go to Mammoth for at least one day (hopefully two) during this next week.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to stay etc? Im looking at some stuff online (motel 6 etc) but ive never been there maybe a local knows a better spot.

Im in LA so it is too far to drive for a day trip, I need at least one night somewhere, even if there is a cheap place an hour away, then i can drive from there in the morning.

Ill prolly go mid week, tues wed or thurs.

sleep in your car in a wal mart parking lot just make sure to have a good sleeping bag
 
I was thinking about that but

a) its gonna be too damn cold

and

b) im too big for my car

id rather spend some cash on a bed

btw- any of you guys have hot sister than need mid week company... haha. ...sigh.. so lame
