is there some free mp3 converter i can download. if now could i get one like on limewire. i really need one.

streambox ripper works, and is free, its just a little hard to understand, you have load a song, and then click convert, and then look through it for a spot where it says like, convert to: and you need to like click the bullet that says "mpeg layer 3 (mp3)"

If you have the orig. cd it would be better to just re rip it. Transcoding wma to mp3 would only make them sound worse .You'll get a lot more clipping , artifacts, etc , but If you still want to http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm is pretty good.

go to download.com, they will have all the converters you need.

Just get itunes.

As soon as you add the song to itunes, it converts it for you.

yeah that dbpower amp works great, i never have probs with it... but if your rippin off a cd and it has a crazy scratch it won't take the song.... well thats what it does to me... but my comp is a whore... so what can i say

Why not just get itunes, which is also the best thing for playing music.

Plus whenever you buy an ipod, which you know you will, everyone will, you'll be able to throw your music on super fast.

Plus Itunes is cd burning software too, so it's 2 in one... plus lots of other stuff.
