Help with virus

i was on msn messenger and this message comes to me and i accidentally clicked the link...........it turns off my firewall and virus softwar than it keeps shuttin programs on my computer. help please!!!!!!!!!
 
Take a good strong magnet and run it up and down your hard drive, I guarantee it won't be on there when you're done.
 
dude that fuckin blows. u got hacked. i'd tur off your comp cuz sombody could easily get all ur info and shit right now. call a comp help agancy or something like geek squad.
 
your dumb... macs can still get viruses... and anybody who thinks they can't, you are fucking retarded. any computer that has access to the internet can get some sort of virus/trojan.
 
Thats really bad, but I'm not 100% sure what to do. This is beyond an anti-virus program so dont bother. You're basically screwed. If you can still run your comp well eneough, back everything up that you need, make sure music is all on an MP3 that you can get it back off of, etc. More of a question, would turining off the web connection help anything?
 
and the message on msn said something like "look at this picture of yourself" then a link
 
im not too concerned i have a server at school to back everything up........its just i have projects and shit this week and if i dont have a computer because the tech deparment at school is fixing it than it makes doing projects harder

 
yes you are rite they can. but it is much much harder to get a virus/trojan or watever you want on a mac. essetially you have to go searching for it. there are also far fewer virus written for macs because they comprise such a small percentage of the computer market. having a mac just makes life easier. and im just wonderin do you own a mac or a pc?
 
dude jim back off on kjell he didnt send it to us on purpose. when each of us opened the link it like automatically sent it over and over to everyone online on our contact list. i was sitting there watching my computer send this fucking virus to like 50 contacts 10x each and i couldnt stop it or sign off or anything. ive been working on getting rid of this thing all night though and my computers going online and working again and shit but its not completely gone yet i dont think.
 
yeah alright i was kidding but that sucks that all my contacts got that there are gonna be some people mad at me
