hey guys,
my dad thinks that my 161 anthems are too big and i agree with him.
i'm 5'00, and i need a good ski thats around 151 cm.
i weigh 87 pounds.
i was thinking about 09 ninthward pocket nines in 153.
but i dont know what they look like cause the ninthward website hasent come out yet.
any other ski recommendations around 151?
i do about 50% park, 50%all mountain.
thanks.

Man, I feel bad for you being in such a situation, but I'll put it this way:

You WILL grow. I went from 151 to 175 because I grew out of my 151s. I don't want you to go out and drop money on skis, just to have to get new ones. The 161 are not that bad of a size for you.

I think if a few NSers could post a pic of their skis and post their height/weights, you might be able to convince your father. I would post a pic, but I'm at college right now and I don't get my skis until Columbus Day.

Good luck.

thanks man.
but im pretty sure theyll let us refund 'em.
if not i could probobly sell them.
as much as i would like to keep them, my dads right.
theyre like 5 inches above my head.
i mean maybe if i was 14, weighed 110 pounds, and was this tall then that would be a different story.
but im only 12, and i weigh 87 pounds.
any other reccomendations are aprecciated. thanks a lot though

anthems are soft enough so that you can throw them around, and longer skis are more stable anyway. mount them dead center and they will be golden for you. and you will grow into them trust me.

they will be fine, this ski is mounted at center, and a ski that is center mounted skis way short so you will be fine
