I am looking for a pair of skis for next year...

I am about 120 lb and 5'6

A pretty agressive skier

I ski a lot more glades and powder than park but about once or 2twice a day ill take a run through the park, rails, jumps, everything.

I need a really fat ski for the legendary jay peak snow and a ski that is capable of skiing on bulletproof ice.

Must be a twin tip obviusly, and must be under 500$.

Thanks for the help newschoolers.

Be careful how you describe your skis? Really fat? That typically means a ski over 105mm at the waist...

I'm assuming you want a mid-fattish.. like 90 at the waist? Good for pow but also for everything else and kills in the park? Also, really light??

Take into consideration Moment Tahoe's... 96 waist. Fantastic for everything. Pow, crud, hardpack, park. True all-round ski.

Also have a look at the Armada ARV's.

SCRATCH BC, now the bergades i think

will not be dissapointed

if you are a agressive skier get the 178

the rip everywhere

everywhere!!!

but yeah the arvs would be a good choice to

but i believe the bc and now bergade is the best everything ski ever made

169 seth or 171 scratch bc.... I have both and both are amazing skis... both go EVERYWHERE... the BC is a lot stiffer than the seth...

PM if you want to know more about either or have more questions

178 would be huge on him. maybe if he was 100% park but since you ski glads i think somthing like 169 would be ok. Sir Francis Bacons would be good for powder cause they are a really fat ski but not great for park. the Seth's would probly be a good ski.

"need a really fat ski for the legendary jay peak snow and a ski that is capable of skiing on bulletproof ice. "

god damn that's fucking tough to get all in one ski isn't it?

My recomendation would be the Scratch BC or whatever they're calling it now.

if u want big get the comte

get a mid-fat ski: seths, prophet 90 or 100, chronic wide, chronic blend.

both prophets would be great on any condition (pow or ice) but wont be great in the park. seth's and chronics are good for everything & i'd say you'd be fine w/something over 170, it just depends on how strong of a skier u are if u go towards a 179 ski.

yea, well he said he wanted a REALLY fat ski. Seths, BCs, and bridges are not REALLY fat. Either is the Gotama, but for East Coast it really is. Seths are a good choice, but they pretty much aren't very good on ice. To soft. You can get a Gotama in 169 now I am pretty sure. They rip all mtn., ice, powder. They are a great all around ski.
