Help with rails

Hey so I know this is probably stupid but how do you ride kinks? Last year I hit our down flat down and ate shit a couple times. So I would really appreciate the help. No hate please thanks guys!

You have to commit and stay centered as you hit the kink, or you'll slide off the side at the flat. But make sure to have soft knees to absorb the kink and make sure you're looking down the rail.

if its going from flat to down, adjust your center of gravity so you are still centered above the rail and your bases are parallel to the rail. also keep looking at the end of the rail as you slide it

I may be stupid but not that stupid I was talking about like if you lean your ski back right before the kink or something

When a lot of people are first hitting rails, their first instinct is to lean back on their edges, because that makes them feel comfortable for some reason i guess. this makes them slide out and have a bad time landing on their back on the rail. the trick is to keep your edges perpendicular to the rail, and the bases of your skis flat to it-not leaning down the rail or back. I don't remember what the first kinked rail I hit was but I remember that if you just keep looking and let yourself kind of naturally adjust it wasn't hard at allgood luck!
