Help with nose grabs

Whenever I try to grab nose I can’t get there. I can grab nose when my skis are on the ground (eg: pre nose) but I straight up can’t get there when my skis are in the air. For reference I’m 5’11 and I ride 181’s if that’s a factor. Please help

Def gotta stretch more. Practice while on the lift. Do not lean too far forward because it makes it harder to bring your legs up. Make sure ur toes are pointed to the sky, keep legs completely straight, if they are bent at all its impossible. And while on the lift hold your hand out just barely higher than ur head, and while keeping legs completely straight and toes pointed up kick ur leg up and bring the tip of the ski into your hand. I recommend doing true nose (Left ski, right hand). When doing on jump you gotta pop first, then grab

A common mistake is jerking your body forward to try and reach and it actually works against you because it makes it way harder to keep legs straight and bring them up.

Super good advice, I’m gonna give er a try this weekend, I’ll try and get a vid for the thread

I used to have this issue too. Try pushing your heel down and pointing your toes up towards your face. Once you get it it’s kinda like riding a bike and just gets easier
