Hey I had a big yardsale the other day, and my wisdoms had so much snow inside the lens (after I finally found them). Not thinking too much I cleaned the snow out of my lens with my shirt, now there is fucking trails of melted snow inside my lens. I dont want to fuck them up anymore, so does anyone know how to fix this?

use a hair dryer on low and just slowley dry tthem so u dont melt any thing keep it like 1 foot away since htey r like 200$

^ i dont think a blow dryer is going tot work now because all the snow is already melted. There is like all this residew from where I wiped the snow out... fucking oakley, i know it says not to touch the inside of the lens but if there is snow in there what am i supposed to do when i on the mountain just wait until it all melts?

cause if its between ur lenses then just waut for it to dry or try sending it back to oakly for new lesses or have them fix it

no there is no more snow, it just looks like thtey are really fucking dirty inside and i have tried a little bit to clean it with the oakley rag but to no vail...

there is no water if i read thios correctly...get your hands on some lens clear...even cleaner for glasses...and just use either a cotton swab, or something hella-soft to just clean that shit up...it happens to me too in the winter when it rains and then that shit dries...just di what i said and you will be fine...the haiordryer would be pointless becasue there is no water...it is all residue

that happened to me last season...what happens is the anti-fog layer on the inside dipearses when it is rubbed wet causing it to become "cloudy" on the lense...sorry bro but there is nothin you can do to fix it besides buying a new lense or if that is a problem u can take the lens out of the frame and rip the inside layer of the double lens out and just use the outside layer in the goggle but u will have to use some time of anti-fog spray everytime you use the goggle...this is what i did until i got new lens

^ dude that sooooooooooooo shitty.

like i understand they give you the warning and shit but fuck off. man im pissed if i really cant fix that shit.

ahhhhhhhhh

also u could c if they r under warnte and get new lenses for free or buy some shit 10$ gogles till u can get new lenses for ur oakleys

he ruined them himself, oakley didnt make a shitty goggle, they wont warrenty that. Its like sliding rails with skis, you are actively ruining the skis, they dont warrenty stuff like that, people need to realize you cant warrenty everything.

Well they warn you, and its the same for all goggle companies. You cant expect to be able to rub the inside lens when it specifically says not to, and get away with it.

But it does suck, and Im sorry about your goggles.

well they arent completely ruined but there is definetly some streakage there still. my bro did fuck his up to the point where it looked foggy all the time, but got them waranteed after a buttload of argueing with T&L. someone needs to make a goggle where you can wipe snow out of the inside. With powder like there is here, its just necessary.

If you use the microfiber bag that came with the goggles you can. Other fabrics are too abrasive and scratch off the anti fog coating. When wiping the inside of goggles use the microfiber and be super easy on them.
