okay so for english we have to elaborate on this quote

"the eyes are the mirror of the soul" so i was wondering if one of you intlectually gifted people could help me out cause i got a shit load of other homework to do too. you just have to say what it means to u, if you agree with it...

i no what it means i cant put it into words like what u see is how you are like if ur shallow or not

french is wierd too. the movie "mouse hunt" in french was called " nous reveillons pas un souris qui dors" meaning we wont wake up a mouse thats sleeping.

i totally agree...have you ever just looked into someones eyes when they lie to you and you know it? can't you tell when someone is sad because the eyes show it, or when they are happy, or mad, or nervous. Now form your own answer don't take mine

okay this is what i came up with...

For some people the eyes are just an installment placed on our bodies to help us see and interact with the environment around us. To others they can be a symbol of love, passion or even an extension of their bodies. Eyes can be green, blue, brown or even hazel, yet they still have their unique ambiance of luring perpetual qualities. When you talk to someone for the first time, where do you look? Do you look at your feet, the ground or the sky? Even though human nature has proven to give us accommodating tendencies to indulge at looking at the opposite sex’s body features, you usually end up looking into the person’s eyes at least once. Eyes can be very informative in the means of conversation and expressing a thought. People can decipher your mood, expression, thoughts or general personality, just from referring to that one focal point. The quote, “The eyes are the mirror of the soul, perfectly describes how your eyes help represent who you really are. They are just being used as an extension to reflect your physiological attributes or, “soul, as others might refer to it.
