Help with my boots.

love my boots (rossi fs somethings) accept for discomfort around my outer foot. Seems like the problem would be solved if they were a few mm wider. I am planning on heating that area of my boot and pushing it out a little bit, making it more comfortable and saving a couple hundred bucks by not buying new boots for next season (winning).

Has anyone out there done this before? if so do you have any tips or advice on the procedure?

go see a bootfitter, if you do it yourself like you suggest, i predict a 99% probability of fucking up your boots .....

 
it will cost you between $30-75 to have the done correctly. go see a boot-fitter, as they have the proper tools and techniques to do it right.
 
This. + if you do it your self you will probably fuck up your boots and have to get new ones anyways.
