help with landing...

everytime i go to land a big jump, i fall to the side and my poles go crazy. SHould i bend my knees more? what should i do

so you flap your arms in the air? I would just suggest extending your legs into the landing, and absorbing with your knees as you land...i think you should just watch other jibbers in the park..that helps me

You need to spot your landing and hold ur eyes there, watch your feet as they hit the ground, with your hands up and out in front of your body. once you land just stand up and say, 'yes, i ski like Mikeal.'

uh, do a grab or something in the air, so you arent concentrating on how huge you are going, and maybe get 'air sense' on smaller jumps

i jump off the end of the jump and land like i was jumping off a ledge on flat ground - suckit up with your knees and try to say as balanced as possible while in the air. Start small and work your way up to the bigger jumps

yeah, i should work up to it.... i was skiing on sunday and i went off tiny jumps, and then i just tried a huge table top and could never land it

^ what a great comment scotch. Uh. Try to spot your landing all the way through and keep pratising your big airs. That should help.
