Help with kinked rails

absorb the kinks by leaning into them and bend your knees like, wen you hit them, its kinda hard to explain because im not a very good explainer person
 
are you hitting the kink and falling off? or hitting the kink and face planting onto the rail? something else need more info.....
 
tilt your forward ski up more and absorb it like a bitch, they are actually really easy to do, it just takes style and practice. Check pep's seg in Ski Porn, he does like a six kink, on a WOOD handrail, that basically shows you what you need to do
 
ok, ski up to it well balanced, then jump as High as you can on to the rail. Once you get on keep your legs straight and locked out, and make sure your whole body makes a straight line. hahaha just kidding. bent knees and absorb the kink also focus on the end of the rail, not the kink
 
yeah, you really have to absorb the kinks with your legs/knees. you need to adjust your body for the angle of the rail, too. when on the down, your body will be perpendicular w/ the rail ie leaning downhill, when on the flat, your body will be perpendicular w/ the rail ie standing straight up.

but definatly the key is working through the kinks with your legs. definatly my best advice is to watch a lot of videos, and focus on how skier's legs are moving as they are going over the kinks. good luck.
 
ive only hit a few, but i just picture it like a roller and let my legs flow over it rather than imagine the individual kinks.
 
just make sure ur balance is on the middle of your skis not leaning back on one of them and absorb it with your knees
 
It took me a few tries to get our large FDF, but if you keep one ski slanted up, so you don't catch an edge, and absorb the kinks, you should be fine. Also, I had a proble with this, don't be afraid of it, just jump on like a normal rail.
 
stay centered and absorb.

if your off balances you'll get ejected to the side of the rail and if you dont absorb you'll get thrown face first out of the rail or on the rail.
