Help with K2

I am thinking about getting a pair of some K2 skis. Can someone explain to me the differences and benefits between the Recoil, Iron Maiden (Revival??), and the Domain? Looking for some reviews, thanks

I used the domains all last season: they are not stiff skis and are quite flexible. Very light weight IMO. I can't say anything else about the other ones though. I'd suggest the Domains, I had many people tell me to get them and I was very pleased with them for the entire season. They are also 90 cm underfoot which was really fun for a park ski. It's also rocker flat rocker which I found really helpfully for if you wanted to maybe use them for a little powder (east coast powder so basically just a little bit of snow). It's a bueno choice to buy these.

all are 90 underfoot. domains are soft, symmetrical with 0 camber underfoot and early rise. recoils are stiff, slightly more directional, some camber underfoot with tip and tail early rise. iron maidens depends on the years. the most recent ones (2012-2013) are the same as the recoils. the 2011-2012 are the revivals, which are basically the recoils with 0 camber. i havent heard about next year, but they are bringing the recoil back, so an iron maiden would most likely be like the revival

soft, symmetrical jibby ski: domain

stiffer directional ski with no camber: revival

stiffer directional ski with camber: recoil

from what ive heard, a lot of people werent satisfied with the revivals, which is why they made the recoil, so i would get the domain or recoil, depending on which fits your style more

k2 domains are what i have been riding for the last two seasons. this years model is so much better than the previous years. i would suggest getting a pair of domains. They are such a good ski and can shred everything in the park with ease

i have not tried the other two so my opinion will be slightly biased

this.

Revival wasn't that good to ski because of the flat camber, Recoils are much better.

Domain has a too soft flex in my opinion. I would go with the Recoil!

Revival's might be a little difficult to find since they were last made in 2011. If you're talking last year's Iron Maiden, it's the same ski as the Recoil.

Recoil is an awesome ski in the park and all mountain. Domain is basically a park only ski.

revival and iron main are the same ski. I rode the domains for 2 and a half years, and can say there my fav ski. flexible in the right spots and stiffer under foot. able to stop huge jumps and do any wacky alien trick.

after my bindings breaking i decided to geta new pair of skis and got the iron maidens. There completely different. Extremely stiff and almost unresponsive (compared to the domains). im not thrwoing all this onto the ski.. as i got the 179 and im 5' 9' and kinda light. but after saying that im a super technicle skier and know how to use a ski.

basicly if you want a fun all around ski just get the domains.

if you heavier/taller and want a more jump orineted/ less playfull ski go with the iron maiden

besides that both skis are super durable

and sorry for the shitty writing, through this up super fast

I have the Domains and they're a super fun ski! Some people say they're heavy, but I think they're super light. They're really good on rails and the rocker makes skiing even more fun! You will not believe how flexible they are. They aren't very good with big jumps, but with the size of jumps they have at my resort (25-40ft) they handle it just fine. I'm not too sure about the durability tho...i have had them since February and i have an edge crack. And i don't go too hard on rails. They are made in China which was a turn off to me..but all in all its an awesome ski!!!

I would like to point out there is a difference between the iron maiden and the revival. The iron maiden is the recoil last year. The iron maiden revival was a revival with a different graphic. Don't get confused by the name difference
