I have never owned goggles. I have tried some cheap ones but I always felt I cant see enough with them. What would be good goggles with wide visibility for reasonable price?

Your best bet is honestly just to go try some on and see what you like both the fit if and the range of vision. Everyone's head shape I different so what work well for me may not work for you.

I hear the canopy has a wide field of view so that may be good. But definitely go and try them on and get the googles that fit you the best.

get something wide like Electric EG2s, Von Zipper Fishbowls, etc. I use the Smith IO/Xs and love them. no problems with wide views.

Find a pair that best fits your face. Spherical goggles tend to be larger, but have a greater point of view. Cylindrical goggles are trending again for next season, but have a smaller fit and have a smaller field of view. For a good in-between goggle that has a medium fit, but the lens is half spherical, half cylindrical lens, get a pair of Spy Marshalls or a pair of Electric EG2.5 goggles. Oakley Canopys serve good as a spherical goggle. For a pair of cylindrical, get a pair of Electric EGB2, Electric EG5, or a pair of Oakley O-Frame.

Also, anti-fog is key for those snowy days so that your lenses don't fog up and you'll end up running into the lodge on occasion. I used a pair of Scott Fix goggles this past season, although they didn't have any anti-fog, there were a lot of vents to vent out the fog. Also, they were spherical so I had a great field of view.

Electric EGB2 is pretty dang wide and they're cylindrical, so well priced. They include a hard case and a spare lens as well as the rest of Electric's goggles.
