Help with community service ideas

Can't think of any ideas for this except making custom drinks at my frat's parties (which I'll do but it won't make more than $150), so hoping some people could throw a few out.

My mom is trying to start a NPO and build a primary school in Tanzania for little kids to get some education. I went out there in May and taught English at schools in the same town for 3 weeks, and the conditions are SHITTY. 60 kids in a beat up concrete room with half a chalk board, 6 desks, 10 books, and sharpening pencils with razor blades. To build a school she needs to buy 7 acres a land at $1700 USD each, and she's trying to do it so it's not out of pocket. Her birthday is late next month, and I feel like the most meaningful present would be if I raised some cash for her upcoming organization. I'm looking to raise as much money as I can. I'm a sophomore in college, living in the dorms. I'm looking to see if anybody has any idea or ideas as to how I can go about making some cash, please throw them in here. Thanks a lot

ok....i got it wrote about this yesterday in an essay....help a special needs kids get around school

community service means you do stuff from the goodness of your heart, with no intention of monetary gain..... what you are doing is trying to find a tax free job. a DDDDUUUURRRRR?!?!?!?!?!?!

^stupid idea. Don't do something sketchy that could get you in legal trouble over this(unless you sell special brownies because that isn't that bad). Selling drinks at your party is a good idea.

You could always sit near a hardware store and wait for someone to come up looking for labor. You could get some friends(preferably girls i guess) to help do a car wash, that is a good way of making money and let people know its going towards a good cause.

im sorry, i just jumped to conclusions without fully reading your post.

the carwash, bake sale, and other stuff like what everyone else has said. once again, sorry i jumped to conclusions.

have a raffle like 2 dollars a ticket then have small prizes for the winner and all the other makings go to your collection. but make sure you say that it goes to a good cause because then more people will do it!
