Help with Candide 2.0 ski length

So i'm 5'9 140lb and i've been riding Faction 1.0 176s for the past 3 years mostly park indoors. Off to Japan for a season next year and want to get something a little wider for all mountain ripping. I ski very aggressively on the mountain and can't make my mind up between the 178 or 184 version of the Candide 2.0. Anyone got any advice? I'll have them centre mounted again so I don't think the 184 will feel too much longer. Currently leaning towards the 184s..

edit: I've got some 185 pow skis for the deep days so the Candides will be my everyday ski

I'm 5'7'' 150lb and I ski the 178. The dimensions and light weight make the skis feel short, in a good way. I'd consider going for the 184. Also, they are crazy fun, enjoy!
 
either one will be just fine so don't worry about it. but id say 184 since it's for all mtn ripping and youre centering them
 
Thanks for all your help guys, like I said in the post above i've got some 120 waist full rocker Majesty Lumberjacks for the deep days, but this will be my daily ski for everything else

Still man maybe you would even like the ON3P Kartel 108 like the candide but better float and FAR more stable. I had the CT2.0s and hated them for all mountain like a floppy noodle with only a decent amount of playfullness

To be fair man I think you’ll appreciate the 3.0’s more as a daily driver over there. Depending on where you’re going, park isn’t really gunna be that much of a thing either.

Groomers get destroyed pretty quick over there too either from more snow falling or little crews of boarders hiding around blind corners and rolllers waiting for you to take them all out ..I think that extra width in the 3.0 would be appreciated, especially with the kind of skiing you’ll most likely end up doing and the snow conditions there.

In all honesty, depending what you wanna do over there and how you ski etc, you’ll probably get away with the lumberjacks as your daily.

How would you compare kartel 108 vs CT 3.0?

You can ACTUALLY ride the whole mountain on Kartels you really cant on the CT 2.0s. Where the cts will have an advantage is buttering thats it

Did you mean 3.0's? I understand they are a different beast compared to the 2.0s

Have you actually skied the 2.0s or are you just talking shit? I skied them all over Alta today and had a blast.... didn't even go to the park.

Owned a pair for 60 plus days thank you very much. I didnt like them, i ski whistler which has a lot of snow, japan is going to have even more.

There floopy noodles
