everytiime i go past cab 5's i go like unintentionally corked no matter how long i try and wait and pop, any help?

when your in the air (and even when taking off) look towards the horizon instead of towards the ground (if you are), of course near the end you should look for the landing and push your hands forward.

k first thing, skiers cant cab... ever.

but thats ok, because switch cork spinning is neeto. just go with it. If you dont want to go sideways, youll have to not dip your shoulder when youre past 360. Stay square to the horizon.

but the cork should be on its way out or halfway through by then because for him its not happening till 540. Keep those shoulders square and open when you take off

i've been having alot of problems too, i was at pc today working on sw 5s.

my theory is this: you're starting to go off axis because you're popping hard off of your left foot (assuming you're spinning over your left shoulder). so when you pop, your left foot is pushing too hard and throwing your shoulders off axis.

my idea is that to stay on axis, you need to edge super hard with your right foot and use that to set your spin. that way it'll be a more even pop.

this is my theory and i was testing it a bit today, what do you think though?

its not when you land corked as well, which is whats happening, its becoming tiresome and painful and it needs to stop, thanks for all that, ill try it again this weekend

tuchie....(i murdered that word)....but there are a lot of people and magazines that say cab...for example in FREEZE they have a trick tip to cab 180 off a cliff and on the cover of TBC it says tanner hall cab 540.....just some examples but i do agree with you on the tech side of things.

Its semantics right?

on the other hand, a cab is a fakie ollie... so tanners switch 5 on the cover of tbc isnt a cab 5 because he didnt technically ollie. I guess technically if you mounte your skis backwards, rode switch and buttered off your heals you would be doing a ca-butter. hhaa

all pros i have met have said that cab is switch, i dont see how anything cant be cabbed because it isnt skateboarding and its as close as you can get.

it doesnt really matter, cab is different in skiing than skateboarding....its a term not a trick..
