Help with boots

I need a pair of new boots for next season because my Dolomites are officially fucked up in the heel and too small.

I want in a boot:

1. a little stiffness

2. durability

3. can work WELL for both park/race/BC. As far as I know there isn't a boot like that. The salomon Gun boot looks sick but expensive?

Suggestions?

lange comp 100 or 80. Great boot, but its gonna cost you 400-500. I got the comp 80's this year and they fit like a glove. But you really cant buy a boot beacuse someone said its good. i actuality there are only 4 or 5 boots that fit each person.

how wide do u need the salomon gun is quite narrow built off a race last... i ve got 120 freerides i ground and stretched them so they were nice and comfy suggest you do the same. they won't feel like your dalbellos but unless you've got the avanti your dalbellos are prob buckets...

How wide is wide? Do you know the letter? the nordica beast is the one of if not the widest boot made.

unless he wears like a triple E width the 06 langes will work they got wider i've got a triple E dress shoe width foot and the new langes are comfy.

^yeah langes are fairly wide, my foot is an E. Just go try a bunch on at a store, really the only way to go. Remember the boot is the most important piece of ski equiptment, so make sure you get ones that fit.

ya i am bettin the his boots are too big for him now and thats why a boot that fits him feels tight but hey its not my foot. go to a real shop though and spend the extra cash to get a boot that fits you right you'll ski so much better..
