Help with binding location

Op your name claims a lot. Do you have photographic evidence to back those claims?

Also -2.5 if it's non symmetrical. Sounds like your new to park. Your gonna not notice any extra length on your back edges.

You won't lose any ability skiing switch on a non symmetrical ski at -2.5. Now if your on a symmetrical ski like the Volkl wall or kastel colby you would benefit from a true center mount or close to it. It partially depends on the ski.

But it also comes down to personal preference. Some skiers have a racer background so the prefer a ski closer to -3. Skiers in deep snow areas will put mounts at -4 to -6 cause they want more ski up front. Some park skiers will always rock dead center because they feel balanced on rails.

What about just -2cm? I see a lot of people seem to prefer that, surely .5 cm won't make a difference?

If you plan on hauling ass going switch(40mph) and landing huge jumps switch you might benefit from having your binding closer to center(-2 or closer).

if you are just getting into park skiing you probably won't even notice the difference to be honest.

But it still comes down to personal preference. Everyone rides a little different and has what they like.

If you choice is between -2 & -2.5 on park ski it will feel almost the same.

I'd say try one and next ski

Try the other.
