Help with 7's

youll get 7 just go bigger and set a tad bit harder with your hips make sure you still pop nice and hard it's not tough at all go slay it kid

ya when u come to like 450 try not to open up like ur gonna go for a 5...just stay tucked and keep spotting and commit and you'll be golden..oh and pop

Deffinatly.. make sure you remember not to try and stop your rotation. if you do that you should pretty much naturaly come arount to a 7

just set it hard, and then tuck, grab safety if ya want it helps stayin tucked, and it just comes around naturally. i find em almost easier then threes sometimes ? i dunno lol, but you will realize they are super easy and fun. good luck bro !

first time i did it i like swung my arms kinda if you know what i mean then tucked and just kept spinning and it kinda just came out lol probably not much of a help but i tuck and spin then spot my landing when im going through the 5

alright if you follow these steps you will do fine

step 1. ski in to the jump like your gonna do a 5.

step 2. do a 7 instead of a 5.

step 3. land it.

I think you just need to focus on step 2 more.

For 7 you need to worry a lot more about keeping your weight forward than you do for a 5. Keep pressure on your shins all the way up the jump or you'll land backseat and get killer shinbang.

ASK TURPIN cult is really really sick for any other trick tip needs you can learn it from one of the best coaches that i've personally had, chris turpin. films some sick shit with MLP too its straight IGNANT.

just pop bigger and set it hard. spin after you pop and keep looking over your shoulder instead of opening up at a 5 and you will find it easier because you land forward it will feel more natural

SHIN BANG part is key.... pop hard and with weight centered to forward since you dont wanna land way backseat and washout (what i always do)

and no one has said it so dont over rotate, i do this often

try some five first, and get a feel for how hard you will have to throw it

that is the scariest post i have ever read...backseat and overrotating on a 7 mute, just how i ended my season.

oooooh man dont give me that image....im guessing sideways landing but you didn't give and totally committed so instead of letting yourself fall you tried to hold it????

AAAAHHHHHH IT HURTS TO THINK ABOUT IT

yeap acl gone, make sure to pop hard and don't get sent backseat and don't overrotate because i landed on my tails and my inside edge of my left ski caught and thats how i tore my ACL. and its a trick i have dialed its not anything new i was trying (7 mute). make sure you kids are in the zone and don't get sloppy because thats what happened with me. once it happened i knew. it was fucked up more mentally than anything. and remember to work out kids!

thats sketchy... my bad if my post somehow led bad karma flow towards your way

Vibes for a speedy recovery !

yeah a safety or something like that helps alot. i always do them with a mix of a safety and a same ski nosegrab (so i grab halfway up the tip) and your tucked, it looks better and you cant freak out that much when youre grabbing

when i learned 5's i just went into the jump and instead of thinking 3 i thought 5 and then stomped it the second time
