Help with 720

Hey guys, I've finally gotten 3's down really good, and I want to start doing some more stuff jumps wise. I've been trying 5's, and have only landed a few because I'm not the best at landing switch, So I was thinking of trying a 7 this upcoming weekend. Is it easier then a 5 since you landing regular? I'll probably try one no matter what you guys say, lol, but I'd like to know if it's actually easier then 5's since I find 3's much easier then 180's.

Oh and also, it would be off of a pretty decent sized jump. At least 35 feet.

idk if it's jsut me, but landing switch doesn't really bother me much at all. im not gonna say 5's are easier, it all depends on the jump

def get the 5 down first cus you have to be able to do a 5 to get a 7, common sense

once you get the 5 just try to jerk out another 180 idunno it will come to you once you start stomping 5's

practice switch landings and switch skiing outside of the park so you can learn the 5 before attempting the 7

I learned 7s first, but that isn't necessarily the best way to do it. Like they said, practice riding switch a lot and work on those 5s. I'd rather watch a stylish 5 than a crazy 7. Getting the fundamentals down will help you a lot later.

That being said, if you do go for the 7, make sure you set your spin hard. Come in with your feet around should width apart and make sure you keep your eyes on the horizon so you don't cork. (learn that later) Other than that, stay tight in the air and watch for your landing to come around the second time. (It's important to really watch for your landing and spot it when you come around the second time. That's how you'll control your rotation.)

the first time u land 7 u will land backseat so bad and then ur shins will kill and u wont be able to ski for a week, it happened to me

i think that if u ski when your heading to the park switch and whenever u arent park skiing ski switch and then u will find landing switch easier plus it doesnt hurt ur shins at all. well thats what happened with me

I've been discussing this on another thread. I have a hard time landing 5s also, and I started to think that it was due to the fact that I was not looking downhill when landing, meaning I was not in a switch skiing position when hitting the snow.

I started experimenting with doing some 180s by only twisting my torso, much like you do when skiing switch, but I haven't tried using this technique to land a 5 yet.

Is this making any sense to anybody?

What do you do when landing switch? Do you face uphill, with no twist in your torso?

Any thoughts?
