I'm not entirely sure what you mean by head going straight to the ground but popping is a good idea and also when you land try and look back up and the hill at the jump. It not only looks sick but it works
Yeah look uphill on your landing. You might try staggering your legs a little too, bringing one knee up, but I'm not sure if that would work out how it does in my head.
if your head is going into the ground. I am going to assume it is your face. If that is the case You are getting into the back seat during your spin.
1 can you do a nice 360 with a safety grab?
2 if this is so do your 360 with your grab and instead of opening up continue to look over your shoulder and spot the jump. It shouldn't be that tough.
3 every one has a different learning curve. Stick with it as long as you aren't getting hurt eventually you will get it
Grabs always help keep you tucked. So go a little bigger than you would for a safety 3, and just stay tucked and let yourself over-rotate a 3. Spot your landing and BAM, cake.
