I want to spend 3 months somewhere outside of sweden this winter, where should i go? park city? vail? breck? lake tahoe? mammoth? whistler? Im planning to go to us open and some other comps aswell so it must be easy (cheap) to get to and from... park is the most important thing but i would realy like to get som powder too, where should i go? i have to decide realy soon.. help help help me!

In before someone makes an immature comment about staying at their house...

Now that we have that out of the way, I say Whistler.

I would say Salt Lake City, Utah is probably the best place to train if you want to get serious. I've never been to Whistler, but it seems like it would be mad expensive up there compared to Utah, plus you have to deal with immigration to Canada.

There are like 8 Mountains that are half an hour away from Salt Lake city and they are all DOPE as HELL. If you get sick of the park at Park City, hit up Solitude on a powder day and you will be in Heaven. Snowbird is fucking sick too.

All of the other places you listed are kind of weak compared to SLC in my opinion as far as having a HUGE variety of different places to go if you get tired of one mountain.

But if you want to come to Montana, I got a place for you to stay. :)

Based off her post, saying she wants to spend the time outside of Sweden, she will already be dealing with international travel.

haha, maybe two years ago, keystone and breck have better ones now. so i say come to colorado, though it's cheaper to live in keystone than breck. or live in dillon or frisco (which are towns in between the two), and there are buses that can get you to either (or copper too) if you don't have a car. pretty sweet set up if you ask me.

Summit County for sure if you love park, train at Breck and Keystone, then head to Vail when it snows

I live in Summit County AKA "Colorado's Playground" It's so fun here in the Winter. All kinds of skiing, party's and partying while skiing too!! They have this thing called 36 hours of Keystone, the resort is open for 36 hours straight, there is a comp involved though, you see who can ski the most runs in the 36 hours or something, I dunno I always get too drunk by the time the sun comes up...LOL Good times though

Whistler, Mammoth, or Utah (Snowbird, Park City, etc)... Whistler will be exppensive if you don't find somewhere soon... Mammoth + Utah will be good because you will already be in the counry for the US openn

The northwest, and more specifically, the Cascades. We got like 7 ski areas in the WA cascades, and then theres Whistler a couple hours north, theres cyprus bowl like 15 minutes from Vancouver with an OK park I hear, and Stevens pass has a really good park (I hear).

Also there's a ton of ski areas over on lake Okanagan, Apex, Silver star, Big white, Those are the only ones I can list off the top of my head, but if you want variety, and EPIC pow days, hit up the Northwest.

stevens just gutted the park crew. so expect good things, and expect them before march for a change. stevens has the best jumps in WA (3 jump proline is fun). the pipe if a big ? as it's sucked the past couple of years, and they need some new rails as there are only a couple ones of decent length, but overall a fun park. the rest of stevens is really whats good with lots of hidden drops and stashes.
