Help...what skis?

Hey y'all I'm lookin at getting some new skis, and I'm not quite sure on what to get...i've been told 1080's, the fugatives among some others, i'm 5'7 and a girl...what is everyones opinion?

 
are you an experianced skier? do you ski mostly park, powder, all-mountain, or everything?

My buddies girlfriend is 5'6' and she rips all over the place and she rides the Public Enemy and says she loves them.

 
I raced for 5 years and i pretty much started really skiing park this year, i'm on a pair of scratch FS, theyre a good ski, ski like the 4 year old rossignol race skis and seem to hold up quite nicely, only downside is they chip easily but just kill anysnowboarder who hits em, go for 168 in length
