HElP, what do i do?

What the hell do i do, i'v got this dope 28 ft kink, with an inrun off my roof but its made out of 2x4s, I can't afford meatal, I'd like to use the special paint but i have no idea what its called or if i can even apply it in the cold, if anyone can tell me or give another suggeustion i'm all ears.

 
I wouldnt paint it or do anything to the wood. It will rot but all you can do is replace the wood when it starts to rot. If you paint it or put some type of sealer on it when u start to grind on the wood the paint will just come off with the edges. Also if you paint it some of the paint chips might come off and get into the base.

 
i know for a fact you can't slid on wood after you'v torn it up, wood blows. I also know that their is a paint that will not chip, someone must know. HELP

 
rip the edges off your skis and then sell them and buy some pvc conduit

Sounds like if there is a paint out there that will not chip that it will be expensive too. Wont it be like cheaper and less of a hassel to just get metal pipes insead of dealing with wood and painting

 
last time i tried to slide wood my edges got caught and i wrecked so bad. I preffer to slide metal or PVC pipes just cause i had a bad expierence with wood

you can get scrap metal pretty easily if you really decide to look for it.. otherwise look for some remodels on houses that include piping.. you can swipe pretty big pieces of PVC from renovators

i'm for stealing a rail - just suss out a nice hand rail at you local mall carpark or similar. Then in the middle of the night you come with an angle grinder - grind through the bases of the hand rail, load it on your truck and off you go!! You'll then have a bullet proof industrail quality rail !!!

This winter thats what im plannin to use. im gona build a double kink frame out of wood, and then put a strip of plexiglass on top. ill report back in once i try it. waherd-Sam

 
buy some angle iron at a hardware store its pretty cheap. or if you can go to a junkyard you can take peices of old bed frames.. that stuff works pretty good. ive used it for boxs for skating.. try that.

 
pvc is really cheap. you could get that. plus i think its a bit easier to grind then metal

Yeah I bought a 4 by 10 piece of wood and then I found this metal 4 by 10 sheeting that fits right onto the wood, I just have to drill the sides into the wood. The metal seems like it will hold up. I got it all for like 4 bucks at Home Depo. Im going to build this sweet kinked rail soon after I get another piece. Good Luck!
