Help w/ macs

so my sister downloaded some stuff on my mac that slowed it down and i deleted it and it still doesnt seem as fast so wat should i do and i want to virus scan just for safetey wat is one i can use?

there are 2 know viruses for mac. both were made by apple to test the OS' security. both failed.

take it to the mac store, theyll prob have to take it over night, but im sure theyll get it fixed no problem.
do you have the applecare protection plan?

^ I JUST turned it off for a ltille bit and now it works fine it was super hot could of over heated

It could be the lack of pressing the period and comma keys.
