Help w/ animated Icon.

Alright i found a new icon i want to use
http://forum.canucks.com/images/avatars/40721d4c3ed65d7d245f8. and it's a guy walking around. but when i save it to my computer to shrink it since it's too big the animations stop working. any thoughts on how to fix it?

don't use photoshop.. use image ready, toehrwise you will always lose animations.. beyond that i don't know.

he's talking about changing the width, and then compressing it on top of that, all of which are a bitch to do with an existing icon.
