Help us try and get a hill to improve their park, karma will be rewarded.

Canyon is a small hill in Central Alberta that has alot of potential, it just seems that they don't put any effort into the park. The majority of kids riding there are there for the park (it's a hill, meaning not many other runs worth hitting) and hopefully with a bit of convincing Canyon will try to make there park a little bit closer to the standard of Rabbit Hill or COP, some of the other non-mountain resorts in Alberta with good parks. I'd appreciate it if you'd like my post (Marcus Ramsay) on their Facebook page, it might not help that much but its a start. Post in here and I'll reward you with karma for your efforts.

there u go bro, i hope ur terrain park situation gets worked out! sounds like a fucking shit-show to me!

Look up maple ski hill, they have the same type of idea, but build a park that is really good for the size of the place, and they keep the place family friendly. They have like 4 hit lines which is not that bad.I am new so if it was helpful can i get Karma

my local hill went from best park in the region to shittiest park in the region because they moved it, hope you guys dont get park blocked like us

My home hill is in the same position as you guys, except management does not provide any funding towards jibs whatsoever, the park community pools cash every year to get more rails.

We even had a church donate money for us to get rails this year, now are we ghetto or what?!

The original post actually got them to improve their park so much, unfortunately things went downhill again due to lack of grooming. If they just maintained everything the same way other hills did it would be a great place to ride.

Dealing with same issue at my local hill. Back in 2005-2008 had one of the best parks in the midwest. Then the park groomer got let go due to some stupid reason & been all downhill since then. This year have four rail & two tiny jumps. Still have over 15 awesome rails sitting in a pile, a superpipe cutter rusting away outside & $500,000 worth of groomers no one knows how to use. Posted few pics on there FB page on how used look & asked why its crap now. No response from hill.

About 16 posts down are my pics of how used look

Well, even at COP part of the park isn't well maintained, jumps are always good, and I know nothing about pipe but the rail jumps gradually get worse and worse until they aren't even a jump, they actually go into the hill. COP's park could be awesome, but some of the people that maintain let it go to shit before they even try to fix it.
