Ski Saint-Bruno, located at 15 minutes of Montreal, are willing to turn their park, due to "High demands" at the costumer service.

It just makes no sens to turn the park public, since alot of tourists get their first experience with snow at the mountain.

Plus, they are banning jumps and XL features.

Can you explain a little more about what's going on? I'll most likely sign it, I'm always down to help save a park, but I'm not sure exactly what's happening and I don't like to sign things if I'm not pretty sure I have at least a decent idea of what's going on.

Yea sure, Ski saint bruno had a park pass for a couple of years now. since we are close to Mtl, 40% of the visitors of the resort are tourist comming for vacations and getting their first lesson of ski aswell as their first contact with snow.

By the year, Saint-Bruno has always improved its park trying to listen to the demands of the park users. But this year, they are willing to take out that park pass, reducing insurances so the park could be accessible to anyone. That means they will be closing our booters, and all L and XL features that are in the park for years now. Flat boxes, flat rail 5' jumps instead of what we had. Also,the new park is going to be super crowdy because their is only 8 tracks on the mountain. A busy park puts at risk the safety of users and greatly increases the rate of injurys. who wants some kids siting in the landing because they are not used to the rules of a parc.

They did not have that decision due to clientelle, since the park pass as always been welcomed at the mountain, because the pass was serparating thoses who ski the park than skiers who carves. As i said before, we are close to montreal so their is a large amount of park skiers in the area.

The removal of the park pass is not an innovation, it will only regressed the level of local skiers. I get the fact that they want everyone to ski the park, kids like adults, but if we start to cut into the large park to accommodate young children , how the older are going to progress ? We already have a Mini Park for the kids, the solution would be to invest in that minipark , so that all levels of skier will be reachable on the mountain

So is there actually a plan to get rid of all the jumps and large features or is this simply a decision to get rid of the park pass and a ton of speculation?

I'm really not trying to be difficult btw. I understood what you wrote btw. But yeah if it's not worth your time don't bother, I'm just curious.

No worries brother. Yes, they are taking away our line of 2 30' booter, and the features are not going to be higher than L because their is no disclaimer to sign...

They don't want to take away the park, they said they wanted to pleased the visitors because they had complaints that the park was not accessible for everyone.
