Help us make a crazy set of skis

Helo NS, TBK Ski co. is new ski company out of portland oregon.

Basically we are making 5 different ski models, all of which are park skis. 4 of which will be designed to the likings of our crew members.

The last model will be based on the craziest shit you guys can come up with, and we will just do what he have to, to make them rideable.

just about anything goes

ie.:

grind slots under foot

blow holes

plastic cores

metal bases w/built in edges

tripe camber

fish tails

crazy graphics

cup holders

pink fur topsheets

built in pipe

...you name it

we will post pictures of the production, and finished product, as well as videos of us using the finished product.

after the skis are made we will give away the 5 pairs we make in a raffel.

give us what youve got..
 
make the skis skis skis have so much rocker that the tip and tail meet above your head and suddenly hamster wheel
 
Skis with built in rocket boosters and audio recordings of Colby West saying funny commentary as you ski
 
Really freaking ridiculous rocker would be great haha. Something that goes to your knees tip and tail and super floppy.

Anti rocker: Make a ski with an ultra chamber. And the tip-tail height should be max. 3cm.

put a bit of a catch free tip on like the bentchetler and instead of rabbiting core for edges just put a metal plate between edges underfoot and fill the tips and tails between the edges w/ fiberglass also make the sidewalls and topsheet connected out of recycled lego.

so you can build whatever you want on the topsheet and have a different graphic everyday

needs a bottle opener also make the bases concaved add a pole stand that could double as a tripod so ur poles stand straight up and you rest ur camera on them, built in wifi router, make an extra long removable tip rocker for pow.
 
3 different ideas

1. Pow skis with such a wide underfoot that people try and sink em.

2. Make some All mountain skis that are so indestructible that nobody can complain about topsheet chipping and they can go over rocks without harming anything.

3. Have a park ski with so much flex you can Nose Butter Cork 2880.
 
Psychadelic topsheet, rocker, holes to plant poles in for some nasty pole drivers, and a tiny compartment under the top sheet to stash some doobies.
 
Cut holes in the ski so that when you are skiing groomers, you launch up a stream of snow. Like a jet ski. Make ez remove plugs for said holes so you can surprise gappers with a slamming of snow

Also

Make them really poppy somehow. Like, give em a huge amount of height underfoot (IDK what that is called) and then add like some fiberglass or carbon fiber to the ski such that when you pop, you'l be lauchend upwards by said fiberglass/carbon.

Who the hell wouldn't want to be able to ollie over people? And then drown them in snow?

I hope you guys hold true and make a really fukin crazy ski!

This is what I was going to say it would be awesome. Also bottle opener is a must.

Make a ski with a rubber core

Make a ski with a U shaped base

Make a ski that has almost zero contact point

Make a ski that can hover over snow

Make a ski that has more edge than base

Make a ski with zero edge

Make a ski out of recycled dildos

Make a ski that is spring loaded for extra pop

Make a ski that can store ones beer

Make a ski with a flint edge so it can spark on anything

Make a ski with rockets attached to it

Make park skis and little latches on the sides so you can put little pieces of ski on the side to make them into wide powder skis
 
Bottle opener in the tails and tips. Magnetic topsheet. lots of early rise. spaghetti flexible tips and tail. Stiff mid section. LEDs. Transparent sections. Like all the way trough, use plexi in base and core and clear topsheet. Handles for grabs. Clips built in for poles. Maybe that flip out? Pocket. In front of binding. Wireless speaker.

Why in gods name would you make 5 park skis? You're basically shooting yourself in the kneecap if you limit yourself to that segment only. Also, no one is going to drop $600 or whatever you are going to charge for a ski that is made as a joke.

Make a ski 300cm long with pointed tips so we can impale this kid on them.
 
Definetly needs possibility to use it as shot ski and it should have a Jägermeister-style topsheet design. Will post pictures tomorrow!
 
So like Signal Snowboards Every Third Thursday!!! This will be sick I've been waiting forever for someone to take signals concept into the skiing world! Can't wait, This will be epic!!!

Here is a lineup of what I would look for in a set of 4.

Deep Powder: The crown jewel of the lineup. These puppies must have a wide profile (140-165) with a full rocker design. The goal of the ski is to huck cliff and being able to trick them too. A overall stiff ski with a softer tail would be my preference. I dont know what kind of materials you are using, but make sure the ski is well reinforced

.name: Pow Fester

All around: The "Candide" of the line up. The ski must have 14-15m radius, 95-100mm underfoot with a max of 140mm on front tip. Put a light early rise in tips and tail and twin that ski up. Imagine having a ski that can turn on good groomer days, shred the off groomers and let you have a BC booter with your pals.

Name: Nomster

Park: Full Camber, medium flex, light and small. Keep a decent radius, while keeping the ski thin.

name: Ski Free (homage to the game)

Budget and junior: No frills, wood core, nothing over the line ski that will get you out of your "I broke my ski" on the first day of the trip. Great for beginning to ski, its the go-to, cool looking ski. Full camber, wider than park, but smaller than all around, it will do the job.

Name: Bad luck
 
Make a ski so incredibly stiff and cambered that even when you click in, the underfoot of the ski will be off the ground a few inches.

Or make skis with wheels on them that can fold out, For smooth transitioning from the hill to the parking lot
