Help this girl win a 20K scholorship!!! thanks NS

thanks to ns she made it through the first round. i tihnk there was like 200-250 people and now its down to 64. its bracket style competition now and we need all the help ns can give. if you sign in the votes count as double. ns got her to almost 1000(as well as other people she knows) but i dont think many registered. if you do your vote counts are double which makes a huge difference in the long run.
 
oh and to try to persuade more ns members to help out. karlee has been very sick the past 2 weeks with some unknown sickness. i guess she was in a ton of pain and had trouble moving so she was rushed to the hospital where they treated her for many different things. they dont know exactly what it was but apparently her nervous system was freaking out about something. rumors are that she returned home today and may be back in school tomorrow, but probably next week. this is all true and if people on ns saw this i thought it might persuade everyone to register. if you do it now and she makes it in, then you dont have to register for the next round to vote again
 
Now I know you guys do this a lot, like the rob and big thing and all these other contests, but don't you guys think this might be a little more important to somebody than meeting rob and big? I mean a 20 large scholar ship is a lot of money, and this person might win solely because one of her friends was a member of newschoolers, and in reality she might not be the most deserving person, know what I mean? Sorry to rain on your parade, but I thought this is something you should think about.

p.s- I didn't read what this thing was so she might be the most deserving, whatever...
 
Umm first of all, if you actually read her profile thing on the website she is EXTREMELY deserving of this scholarship. Second of all..the winner is determined by getting the most votes. Allow me to repeat-VOTES. If they wanted to give it to who they thought was most deserving then they wouldn't be having this contest..
 
Umm what's with all the hostility up in this piece? If you read all of my post I clearly stated that I didn't read and that in fact she may be the most deserving. And what do you think the general public who has no bias in the subject will vote for, the prettiest, no the most deserving that's all I am saying, because there are obviously a lot of people who are voting for this girl because someone asked them to, not because of her credentials. Don't get your panties in a bunch, I'm not trying to insult anyone I'm just saying my piece and I really think that it is somewhat logical.
 
nah i get where you're coming from. someone else may be deserving of it, but i know she deffinately is too. you gotta think of it this way tho, what highschooler isnt on facebook or myspace...not too many. all of these people in the competition most likely are and are using them to get votes too so its not like no one else is doing it
