It definitely makes more sense not to kill them. That way, they'll keep multiplying and end up decimating the whole deer/elk populations which in turn will lead to them starving to death. Give it a few years and you'll have no deer, no elks, no wolves. But no, we shouldnt kill a few of them to stop this from happening and also help out farmers that suffer from their presence, that would be mean and wolves are "cool".
 
They should let people hunt the Wolves. The state government gets its cull, and hunting license fees to boot.

just because wolves eat elks, it doesnt mean that they will destroy elk populations.

there is a possibility, yes, but whether or not this is the case here should be answered by a biologist, not us 2, ok?
 
They are decimating the elk population in Idaho, go look it up.
They are not native to the area, they are from Canada. They are not Timber Wolves, Timber Wolves never had to be controlled because they didn't kill anything they saw and then moved on. Half the time they don't even strip a carcass.

but i would like it if we as humans could reach a point where we dont have to intervene all the time in such cases.
 
The only reason we have to intervene, is because we intervened. The U.S government introduced Canadian Grey Wolves, which as you can clearly tell..are not native to the area.
 
so many brainwashed idiots in this thread. the people who are against this federal wolf killing obviously have no idea why such a thing is neccesary. they sit in there comfy suburban house, see that a wild dog is being killed and get outraged. this is needed. end of story. i would also like to thank arabian for the lols once again
