So i have the 05-06 invaders and the tip of my left ski is starting to delam (what a surprise...) and these skis HAVE to last me till the end of season, cuz i dont see myself getting money to purchase a new pair anytime soon. So this brings me to my question, is there anything i can do to lengthen the life of my skis, like can i put super glue on the inside of the tip to have them stick together better. I purchased the skis like 360 days ago thus the warranty is going to end soon, but i have a ski trip to snowshoe this weekend and I cant send them in w/o missing the trip, so any advice would be great. Thanks!

um just buy a new pair of cheap used skis. or cheap new skis? but if you have to ride them just epoxy it in and clamp it for a wile. or ducktape it ive seen both done and both work

If you go to the shop they may be sympathetic(MAY) and warranty or hook you up with a deal on some new sticks if you tell them you're going on a trip. Or have them riveted.

Invaders delam like a mofo...just deal with it if possible..it doesnt effect the ski much...try superglue if you want..i say just rip that shit off...it just adds weight...idfk why they put that shit on the invaders...the skis look better without the lam anyway.

put elictrical tape around the tip and tails, wrap the tape around a few times... no joke some kid at my local mountain did it a few years ago and it seemed to do the trick for a little bit at least..

it takes a while but do like 10 coats of polyurethane, its what i did, and they held until i returned them at the end of the year

Well im going skiing tmrw and on Sunday so im gonna just use some super glue for now to keep them from getting worse (hopefully). Then on Monday ill take them to my shop and see what they say and may use rivets if that fails...

yo i had the same problem about 6 days into riding my invaders they started to delam i used a high qaulity epoxy glue put it on genouresly so it made its own layer almost haha and theyve worked for me up until now i just bought a new pairof skis but that lasted me 3 years

If you're going tofix them, make sure to do it right the first time. Find some slow-curing epoxy and a few clamps and have at 'er. Make sure you get quite a bit back under the delam and clamp it tight and evenly and you should be good to go. Just make sure to let them sit a couple days before riding.

on a tip or tail delam, epoxy is only a temporary fix. Anywhere else on the ski holds better than the tip and tail.

If you're gonna do it right, do it right the first time. Load that baby up with epoxy and use a heat gun to blow the epoxy as far down between the layers as possible. This is after you have the ski ready for a rivet.

Once the epoxy is in there, then rivet it. Then clamp it and let it sit for 48 before riding.

Be sure to use a high quality long curing epoxy.
