HELP, Ski Sizing

Hey NS, I was hoping someone could help me before I purchase a pair of skis. I am about 5'9 150 pounds, and I found a nice deal on a pair of 166 skis. I know some will say it's more stylish to get long skis, but is 166 a decent size?

well not more stylish but being 5'10 155 pounds being on 179 is more stylish then being on 171
