So there are a good amount of Newschoolers life-timers that have awesome entries in the PBP Undiscovered contest. The rules say that "up to 40%" (whatever that means) of the final say is based on public vote so I say we rally and send our votes to Newschoolers homies. You can like as many entries as you want once each day so let's make it happen. Below is my list of friends/great entries that deserve some love. I've you disagree feel free to add in any of your standouts.

This may be an unpopular opinion but it's kind of disappointing to see familiar names enter this competition. It's meant to be like super unknown and give the not known guys a chance to crack it.

One of those jumps was built on the summit of hood. If you fell and slid, you'd end up in a chute full of rocks and ice... Pretty crazy that he climbed hood, built a jump at the top, hit it a bunch of times and then skied down. A couple of guys I know were with him on that trip. Apparently he did some way bigger stuff than just that (hit a sketchy cliff straight to ice while holding his giant painters pole/gopro pole).

I was kinda thinking this too. I don't think it's disappointing tho, if you ask anyone who isn't on NS chances are they will only know a few of these names. So even tho we know and love these guys, we're just a small portion.

Sanders edits are sick as always. Pebble creek for life!

Lencon hit it spot on. I totally get where you guys are coming from because the name implies they have to be completely unknown. But we sat down with Dylan Malone from Poorboyz who explained their intentions with this in depth and it cleared a ton up for us.

There are a ton of middle tier guys who in the eyes of Newschoolers folk are big stars, but a ton of them don't get much recognition outside of our small community. They also don't get the opportunity to reach a larger audience and make the big $$ that top comp skiers make, which opens up a whole other conversation we don't need to go into right now.

Steve is something like 26 and until last year had the whole 'amatuer for life' joke going on. Same goes with Giray. We all love him but he's still "Ahmet's Brother". This contest is to give those guys that have put in a ton of work over the years but still haven't had a real big break.

Do you think you could get poor boys to clarify just how the contest works or give me a little more information about it. I'm really curious as to what poor boys will allow with the contest

Dave Van Ham is totally deserving and has no help from sponsors or judges promoting him!
