Need a new ski for reasonable price.. something that will do both and centre mounted

please help

for reference before I was riding Volkl Walls

If there are still some new old pairs kicking around, which I think there are, go with some center mounted APO Rockos

Look at some symmetrical pow skis. Surface makes some sick ones. There are others floating around. That would do the trick. That being said...what your looking for doesn't exist. Either a rail ski or a pow ski.

Or just get something in the middle like Kartel 108's than can do both.

is the al dente for park more than all mountain?

Like you I was riding volkl ledges for two years and got armada al denies this year and while they have been awesome (really great) in park If your more of a skier that spends his time everywhere I might shy away from tis pair> In the park they are playful, buttery, stable and a fun ski to use, but outside they can feel a bit wobbly at higher speeds and while somewhat durable may not be the best choice.

i ride my on3p jeffries in the park (mostly rails) and all over the mountain including pow days. They hold up fantastically everywhere

that being said, i wouldn't recommend centre mount if you're riding sidecountry or just between slopes at all, go for -1 or -2

Listen to these people. The Faction Candide 2.0 and 3.0 are good, the 2.0 will be more park oriented and the 3.0 more big mountain oriented. The ON3P Kartel 106 would also be a good option, probably the best one. On the heavy side, but it’s bombproof.

To be completely honest, skiing rails and big mountain is definitely possible on one ski, but I’d suggest getting dedicated skis, even if it means you have to wait a little bit. Big mountain skis won’t lend themselves to rail skiing simply because they aren’t designed that way. If you had to get one ski, look at the Kartel, the Moment Deathwish, or either of the Candides.
