Help, post-op. cant sleep

holy hell guys. i got shoulder surgery this morning, percs kept me feeling decent. i tried a vicodin later, but that didnt work, so i went back to percocet. now nothing works and i cant sleep. in the last 2 or 3 hours ive had 3 325mg percs, one 500 mg vic, and a vic enhancer. im in too much pain to sleep. i have a high pain tolerance from playing 7 years of football, but its still too much., what the fuck can i do?

if you smoke weed puff a bowl, if you dont take some nyquill, that on top of pain meds pt me right out after surgery

find someone with insomnia and get flurazepam off them it will knock you out for hours.

yeah, weed +opiates mix pretty nicely, other than that I couldn't say.

even a puff or two of resin will help alot if you already have that many percs/vics in your system.

i know what that feels like though, i had shoulder surgery a couple of summers ago...the first day blooooows and maybe the second as well, but once you find some painkillers that do alright it'll start feeling better. just relish the opportunity to zone out and play video games and watch movies...i remember it was pretty fun there for a week or so after the first day or two 

oh, and get your mom to go buy some XL sleeveless tshirts at sports authority or something, that's practically all i wore for like a week until i decided to teach myself how to put on regular shirts again without lifting my arm up

thanks for your help guys. i just ended up staying awake for another hour and a half, then thankfully fell asleep. luckily im feelin a hell of a lot better today.

Meh, broke a toe skiing and the pain kept me from sleeping. Try getting stoned as fuck with either weed or Hash. Hash did an awesome job to me after my ski accident. My no.1 to put myself asleep is a hookah with weed in it Try it out if you have a hookah bong.

TAKE THE GREEN FUCKING DEATH NYQUIL...

Trust me. It knocked me out for about 12 hours during post-op on my knee...

woke up in insane pain.. was basically put on morphene for about 3-4 hours... probably the best drug of my life, because that knocked me out about 20 mins after...

I guess... definitely don't mix any tobacco in there and make sure it's clean. Tobacco is really bad post surgery.

nah, i smoke about half a pack a day. had surgery 2 weeks ago, im straight, healing quickly too
