ok so i was planning on getting line skis..

but then someone told me that they like break really easily..

someone who has line skis tell me!! if they're good enough to get or if they'll break on me.

there is a little thing called the search bar. it will serve you well, and it is always there in the upper right hand corner. hell, it might even be a comfort for you. lines are good, but next years are made in korea if that bothers you.

Three of my friend bought them(not at the same time) and all thei edges went to hell after abouth three weeks, and they don't slam onto the rails.

no one breaks edges unless they are hitting rails or rocks....28 years on snow and I have broken dozens and dozens of skis but every time I have broken a ski its because of something I DID...a few binding tear outs from shop screw ups, but I have never heard of someone breaking just and edge from regualr skiing unless they hit something....

buy LIne, buy any brand...they are all good these days....pretty much the same quality

 
if your lines break i will donate my left nut to science and maybe they can give it to an old guy with erectile disfunction

 
you keep saying this and it's not true. so stop. they are NOT going to be made in korea. they will be produced in china but the same guys that oversee quality control in canada are going to china. so stop with the fucking rumors. i know you heard it from the guy at h3o films, but let's face it. he is not in the industry whatsoever.

lines come with a one year warranty for pretty much everything. two years if you get the binding as well.

exactly, there is so much whining on here about 'my friends whatever ski broke only 3 weeks after he bought it' or 'don't buy x brand because they are just terrible quality.' but the truth of the matter is that all these companies are producing good quality skis. there may be the rare defect or that one guy who just gets unlucky, but on a whole, the quality is going to hold up.

and for the thread starter, no your lines are not just going to break.

I hope that some day we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people
 
one rule i have always learned about line, they ALWAYS delam after one season. They are great for the park, but suck everywhere else. I would recommend pe's or scratches.

I was very reluctant to buy Line because of all the shit on here that I read last summer.

This winter I got to know the rep pretty well and I finally got on a pair after I had already ruined two pairs from another brand.

I couldn't kill these skis. I had Mike Nick pros and mine were indestructable. I'm not a small guy either and I rode them hard as hell. After 50some days on them I finallly retired them so I could get a pair of invaders. Line is super sick about their warranty as well, even though I haven't used it yet.

The Mothership, Chronic, and Chron Wide are all going to be super sick as all mtn/park skis.

 
they are preatty reliable skis and next years are supposed to be better even though a bunch of china men are making them

this is it, this is REALLY gunna hurt
