Help pick my new ski

i have narrowed it down to PE's, Chronics, or Invaders, and im kind of keeping trouble makers in the back of my mind.

i ski pretty much only north east. mostly poconos and vermont and shit like that.

im about 6'1", 160 pounds.

i ski basically all mountain. probably about 40% of my time in the park.

so what do you think i should get

sorry if this is wrong section i just made an account so i could ask this.

personally i would say chronics, they make a nice all round ski, so you can take them out of the park...i tried the invaders and didn't like em very much outside the park...but that might have been cuz they were center mounted... check out moment tho, you might be able to find a ski better suited for you...and it won't be made in china either

Better check your closet and all the things you own for where they are made...you would be surprised. Or you can check your racist attitudes towards Asiain people. Don't be so ignorant.

Out of those three you listed, the Invader would be the least ideal for 40% of you time in the park being that it is a much softer flexing ski than the others. The PE is probably a bit stiffer torsionally than the Chronic, but both retain similar levels or peformance in the park if you are talking about the new sidewall construction ones with the large bird on them. I haven't skied that new Chronic, but maybe somebody on here has skied both and can give you some more info.

tweaker... sceech thats a main selling point you cant expect them (Moment) to not try and exploit it just as you are using china for cheap labor. don't even pretend thats why your (K2) over there. also both of you read the "world is flat" and you will realize that this whole arguement is bull.

Chronic the PE has sim flex (stiff) but past models really lacked performence so id go with the chronic to be safe

for 40% time in the park you definitely want the chronics, do not get the invader, it is a straight up jib ski. the PEs would probably work out, but i think you would be happier on the chronics, much more solid in my opinion, and given your height, weight and location, i think the chronics would definitely be the way to go. Just some additional advice, go for 172's (i think they come that length), mount them midsole since you ski all mountain and put a pair of look bindings on them. I ski in vermont too and im presently rockin that set up. definitely the chronics.

the trouble makers (07 and 08) are pretty sick, they definatly made them wider(08), but theyre still sick.

The PE's are the skis for you if you aren't going to ski totally park. Personally K2 are more durable than Lines. I have had both companies broke invaders not much has change from when I broke them. The Crons are good but personally I think the PE's are a better all mountain ski. They have worked great for me and they can hold there own on Ice and light powder. Just don't by invaders not durable enough for what you are doing

Of those choices, the chronics. The 07-08 now has sidewall construction and wider dimensions - by all accounts, it is one of the best all mountain/park skis this year.

GIve personal experience when talking about skis, there are so many stupid comments on NS when people ask for help choosing the right ski. The dude is 6'1", he doesn't need to ski a 172cm.

"I think...."   "I have heard......."   "It looks more durable...."
