Between these two, which would you choose for a daily driver and why.

they both will be modded, probably stanced as well. for cities mostly.

honestly I'm like 90% for the scion. just want to hear opinions.

the first car is quite possibly the ugliest car i have ever seen. Even when modded, nothing will make that piece of shit look any better

so your gonna buy a 2012 car and proceed to dump it and mod it effectively ruining the warranty?

sounds like someones not paying for this vehicle, dont mean to judge but if you were paying for it you'd probably see how stupid it would be to slam any one of those cars. sure it can be done, i'm sure it will look better than stock. but that doesnt mean it SHOULD be done

dont buy a scion period. I miss my jetta dearly, you'll love any german engineered car. however maintenance is a bitch unless you know someone.

Neither. And don't stance your car. But that's just my opinion so who cares. But seriously don't get an xb. I've never driven by one without thinking "what was that person thinking wasting that kind of money on that hideous car?"

Why the fuck would you buy a new car just so you can put your childish touch to it and make it look like shit? Just use that money to buy a nicer car in the first place, both of those will make you look like a douche because only a douche would shit money away on either of those with mods and a stance.

I personally hate scions and like vw's, so between the two I would get the jetta. But if I had money to blow I'd buy used and get a better older car

Jetta, but just because Scions are possibly the ugliest car ever made. They're battling out PT Cruisers for the title.

I'm selling my 2005 Scion xB tomorrow. I loved the car! It's lots of fun to drive, especially if it's standard. I'm selling it because it can't handle the snow in Colorado, but I'm gonna miss it.

Toasters are awesome, fuck the haters

If you do get the scion you should do this to it just for shits and gigs

I bet a lot of people driving by would think it was broken

they will be "stanced" do you even know what an ET is ? or know anything about coils? you know jettas don't have camber bolts right ? they only have front camber plates that go 3 degrees. both are wack.

Scions are super cheap to maintain. On my last tank of gas I was at 38mpg with a ski and kayak rack on top.

Scion's are great city cars, but out in the burbs (where I assume OP lives) a jetta would be just as viable. A scion is great for getting places quick. It's great at city speeds, getting in and out off, and your stuff out of it quickly.

I didn't know that jettas don't have camber bolts but only have camber plates that go 3 degrees either

i read the title as "help me pick a cat." i felt letdown, and will still recommend the british blue as a great cat to get, despite the complete irrelevance to this thread. pics related:

any older jetta models? maybe mid 2000 jetta tdi wagon?

if it was my choice i would get some sort of vw over a scion. the mechanics at the shop i used to work at never had anything good to say about those cars...
